It's Been A While

A friend sent me this trailer to Fireproof and I watched it. I'm excited to go see it. Check out it out at the bottom of my blog. I will be back soon for an update on our life. As most of you, I have been very busy a lot going on and it intimidates me to come and post because I have missed so much. I will be back for posting soon. Stay tuned.

Family Moments To Bring You Up To Date

On April 28 our sweet Mick turned 2. We just did a small thing for him at home, because Stephen has been really busy with the academy. It didn't matter Mick loved whatever as you can see. His big brother is always there to help him.
This is the proper way Joseph says.
Mick was interested in the candles.
I must say I love my family.
Um, this is good. As Joseph plays with Micks toys.

The story begins, Stephen came with his partner so we could take a picture of the boys in the ambulance since it was his last week with Lifeline. It was a really great company for him to work for but it was time to move on to his dream. Aren't they super cute. I think so.
Joseph wanted to go for a ride around the block.
Mick just didn't care he just was happy.
And then it started Stephen's first day with Oxnard Fire Department, yeah we are so excited and proud of him. He started the academy in April and graduates this month on the llth. We are so excited.
Here they are the rookies striking in uniform. They all have been working so hard, and have been a great support for each other. Stephen is second from the left if you couldn't tell. They have on there serious faces. We love you Stephen this is such a wonderful blessing for our family.

On May 2nd our very wonderful father turned 60. Happy Birthday to him. Thanks to my brother for coming down and planning everything of course, he really has wonderful talents. Everyone had a very fun and memorable time honoring our Dad.
For someone who has been through so much he is always so happy, and for that he deserves everything.
The table if you didn't guess already.
Brian the chef for real and my Uncle Tate.

My wonderful parents had a really nice time. They deserve it.
Silly Amelia she always has a dance or funny face to show the camera. Brian and Ivan's little girl.
I must say Brian really out did himself everything turned out wonderful.
We had a fabulous orange Bomb dessert with blood orange sorbet and caramel ice cream with a meringue and caramel sauce on top. Yum is was so good.
We are really grateful to those that made it out to celebrate with us and we really missed those that could not make it.

The boys thought this was the best thing ever.
I just love this picture. Mick is always so interested.
The grand kids helping grandpa blow out his candle.
Candles everywhere probably is not the best idea with six little fire loving boys around just happened to catch one. Mine of course.
My Dad always is super grateful to everyone. He was probably overwhelmed the whole evening because he got the recognition that he deserves because he is the best father we could ever have not to mention the very best example. We love him very much!!!

On Valentines Day Stephen surprised me with tickets to Wicked it was for my birthday also. I was so excited was he... Haha well he did like it to but it was mainly for my entertainment. I love him!
It was super beautiful inside, I'm excited for many more plays together. We had a really great time.
